Velocity Individual Traffic Match
Data contains each traffic data "match" generating by the host sensor in one of approximately 100 locations throughout the city. These sensors include Bluetooth/WiFi readers are deployed to collect data from devices that are within range of the sensor usually cellphones. Data is encrypted and then any identifiable information from each read is removed. The system then produces a match and timestamp if a specific device crosses between two readers. Each match is a single traffic data record containing an individual vehicle's travel time and speed along a roadway segment.
