Major Land Resource Areas (MLRA)
Major Land Resource Areas (MLRA) boundaries for Hawaii, Source: Natural Resouces Conservation Service (NRCS), 2002. Major land resource areas (MLRA's) are geographically associated land resource units (LRU's). Identification of these large areas is important in statewide agricultural planning and has value in interstate, regional, and national planning. This layer is intended as a basemap for US national level natural resource analysis.
