● This data layer represents the average daily VMT per resident based on their place of residence. The data has been derived from the Metropolitan Transportation Commissions's Travel Model One for Plan Bay Area 2050, representing the conditions in the 2015 base year.
● VMT include private automobile travel on a typical weekday, including drive-alone and shared-ride modes.
● VMT does not include trips to/from airports, travel to and from destinations outside of the nine-county San Francisco Bay Region, truck trips, or drive access to transit.
