E-Scooter Trips - 2020
Electric scooter trips taken during the 2020 Chicago pilot program. For more information on the pilot, see https://www.chicago.gov/scooters.
In contrast to the 2019 E-Scooters dataset (https://data.cityofchicago.org/d/2kfw-zvte), vendor names are included. Additionally, Census Tracts are provided in a separate dataset to allow for providing more data while still protecting privacy. See "E-Scooter Trips - Census Tract Summary - 2020" dataset (https://data.cityofchicago.org/d/3srm-twg4).

| Start Time | start_time | start_time | Calendar date | When the trip started, rounded to the nearest hour. |
| End Centroid Latitude | end_centroid_latitude | end_centroid_latitude | Number | The latitude of the center of the trip end Community Area. This column will be blank for locations outside Chicago. |
| Trip ID | trip_id | trip_id | Text | A unique ID for each trip. |
| End Centroid Location | end_centroid_location | end_centroid_location | Point | The location of the center of the trip end Community Area. This column will be blank for locations outside Chicago. |
| Start Centroid Location | start_centroid_location | start_centroid_location | Point | The location of the center of the trip start Community Area. This column will be blank for locations outside Chicago. |
| Start Centroid Longitude | start_centroid_longitude | start_centroid_longitude | Number | The longitude of the center of the trip start Community Area. This column will be blank for locations outside Chicago. |
| End Community Area Name | end_community_area_name | end_community_area_name | Text | The Community Area name where the trip ended. |

| Trip Distance | trip_distance | trip_distance | Number | Trip distance in meters. (Divide by 1609 for miles.) |
| End Time | end_time | end_time | Calendar date | When the trip ended, rounded to the nearest hour. |
| Start Community Area Number | start_community_area_number | start_community_area_number | Number | The Community Area number where the trip started. |
| Start Centroid Latitude | start_centroid_latitude | start_centroid_latitude | Number | The latitude of the center of the trip start Community Area. This column will be blank for locations outside Chicago. |
