High School Dropout Rates
This dataset includes annual rates for students who are identified as dropouts from grades 9-12. The dropout rate is calculated by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as: the number of dropouts divided by the total of September enrollment, plus transfers in, minus transfers out, minus dropouts, added to September enrollment, then divided by two.
