Viewing of Board of Supervisors Recorded Meetings

Viewing of recorded meetings of the Board of Supervisors of Marin County, CA. Views per meeting are tracked each month for recordings that the County makes on their Granicus system. Views per meeting are also tracked on Facebook Live.

The County Granicus system views represent those by the public only; they exclude views by internal County employees. Facebook Live views are all viewers, both public and internal. Facebook views are also a combination of initial live meeting views (when it is happening) and then additional views when it transforms to its recorded form.

Granicus system views are typically by viewers who seek out the recording and watch it for multiple minutes. Conversely, Facebook Live views are any views of video for three seconds or longer. Most very short duration views occur on users' Newsfeeds.
