Homeless Counts

Counts of people experiencing homelessness from two sources. PIT refers to the annual Point-in-Time count done in January each year. HMIS is a unique count of shelter users over the calendar year from the Homelessness Management Information System (HMIS).

Querying over HTTP

Splitgraph serves as an HTTP API that lets you run SQL queries directly on this data to power Web applications. For example:

curl https://data.splitgraph.com/sql/query/ddn \
    -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
    -d@-<<EOF
{"sql": "
    SELECT *
    FROM \"ramseycounty-us/homeless-counts-gtgh-79jc\".\"homeless_counts\"
    LIMIT 100
"}
EOF

See the Splitgraph documentation for more information.
